Oklahoma City Homeschool Land Run 2007 - OKC

Wednesday, April 18th 11:00 AM (rain date: Friday, April 20th 11:00 AM)
Event Details: Line up with your wagons and lunch, wait for the gun fire then race to claim your own piece of land. Set up your cardboard house or store, go to the land office and get your deed, open shop to visitors and exchange swaps to celebrate the events of the day. Have fun playing in our own 1889 town and enjoy your lunch on your new land. Prizes will be given for costumes, buildings and covered wagons.

Harold Keith Oklahoma Centennial Book Club – Cleveland, McClain, and Pottawatomie Counties
To encourage school age children in the Pioneer Library System service area to read and celebrate the State of Oklahoma and to promote the reading of books with Oklahoma themes or by Oklahoma authors or illustrators.
