Be an Event Coordinator !
We are in need of some coordinators for up-coming PCHEA events.
Some of the same people have been coordinating these events and they would like a break!!!
Sooooo... If we would like to see these events continue, we will need some volunteers to head them up. Check our Events Volunteer Sign-Up from the September newsletter or online.
Volunteering to coordinate does not mean you are on your own to "make it happen". There is plenty of help for finding locations, how to go about planning, paper goods, etc. Mainly, the job of the coordinator is to send out emails and reminders to the group, secure a location, and plan the activity. The helper is there for you to work with and plan with. It really is not all that scary to coordinate one of these events!!! They have been done before so you don't have to "reinvent the wheel", there is a format in place!! For now we’ll focus on the Geography Fair, sometime in January, and our own Capitol Day family lunch in February. If you would be willing to head up one of these activities please let me or Jeri know ASAP and we can help you with what to do and what is expected.
Thank you,
Will and Nancy Schwab
