Mom's Night Out - this coming Tuesday
Hi Ladies!!
Mom's night out is this coming Tuesday night, the 8th of December. We will be meeting at Heritage Church on Bryan in Shawnee. The time is still 7:00 to whenever!! Bring your own Starbucks or we will have plain coffee with creamer there. It is a much quieter and more comfortable place to meet and chat, nice couches and plenty of space, no more borrowing chairs from other customers at Starbucks!!!
! As the days get busier during the holiday season, I think it would be a good time to discuss ways to beat the busyness syndrome, you know, where you over commit because everything sounds so great to do and then mom is burned out and not very pleasant to be around?? is this a common experience, or am I alone in this ;)?
I hope to see a bunch of you there, we have been having such great discussions, I look forward to seeing ya"ll.
Nancy
ps. please let me know if you have any questions about the new location.

High School Christmas Party
Reminder: High School Christmas Party is this Saturday from 1:30-3:30 at Lakeview Church of Christ.
Dec. 5 from 1:30-3:30 will be our First Annual Christmas Party.
Bring a $5 wrapped gift for Dirty Santa and a container of homemade cookies. We will be eating some of the cookies and making Fire Fighter appreciation platters with the rest for our community service project.
Seniors and parents of seniors will need to be there at 12:30 for the mandatory meeting. We will have important info for you.
Our senior meeting this Sat. at 12:30 is very important. We will be making some decisions regarding cap/gown colors and announcements as well as providing financial info and deadlines. All seniors and parents are asked to attend. However, I know this is a hectic time of year and if you have a major conflict of interest please contact Ivy Poe. We want everyone who wants to graduate with us to be able to. The meeting is at Lakeview Church of Christ and a Christmas party will follow.

Plan Your Destination - Geography Fair
The annual PCHEA Geography Fair is scheduled for January 28th. So far, five families have signed up. The countries taken to date are Australia, Saudi Arabia, Ancient Egypt, and Medieval England.
As you can see, people are not only choosing countries, but some are also choosing periods of history for their countries. That means modern Egypt and England are still up for grabs!
So where are the rest of you going to take us for a virtual vacation? Let me know! =-)
Have a blessed day!

Keepers of the Faith Club
Hi all,
Just a reminder that the next Keepers of the Faith meeting will be on November 17th from 4:30-6:30 @ New Beginnings Church off of Harrison St. If you've ordered a book recently and have not paid for it you will need to do that before the order can be placed. Keepers of the Home girls should be finishing up their dolls so they can be ready to start sewing the outfits for the dolls at the next meeting. Please remember to bring your doll project with you. If you signed up for a month to coordinate the Lil' Keepers please e-mail and let me know so I can have a record on who is doing which month.
Have a wonderful week!!
Fondly,
Teresa
