Cindy and a friend demonstrate the Velcro Technique. This technique empowers a child to get help from an adult when being pursued by a would-be captor. Unfortunately, many adults are reluctant to help a child they don't know. So if the child grabs their arm and refuses to let go he/she forces that adult to help.

One of the things your child can do if someone tries to grab them while they are riding their bike. Very simply the child holds on to the bike with everything they have and refuses to let go. The predator will get frustrated and give up before calling attention to himself.
