Though there are many wonderful books written on the different philosophies of home education, I have found to be most inspired when I hear a REAL mom share what their day-to-day life looks like.
If you are a brand new homeschooler you may be excited to learn more about....,

However, if your a veteran you may already know what works for "your" home, "your" family but you've always been"intrigued" by some of the different aspects of other philosophies. For instance, you might be a Traditional family that wants to add Copy Work into your day Or a classical family that wants to add lapbooking?
Whichever category YOU fall into (New or Veteran) this Meeting will help you to walk away with new idea's, purpose in where your going and how to get there.

Lynn Sowers Lynn, is the mom of 5 beautiful daughters. She and her husband Joseph have homeschooled since birth and though they started homeschooling using the Unit Study approach the Lord has guided her into the UNschooling lifestyle over the past five years. Come hear how her daughters year end testing EXPLODED when they let go of systems, schedules and human-led learning and grasped onto letting the Lord guide their education. It is a wonderfully scary, yet thrilling ride through the life of one unschooling family!

Lynn Doto Lynn, will be speaking to us about..., "Classical Education" Lynn has been married to her husband Jim for 16 years and is the mother of two amazing sons, James and Joseph. She has homeschooled for 5 years following the Classical Mode of education. Come hear how Classical Education prepares your children for college AND for life!
Brenda SainBrenda will be sharing the stage with Lynn as she shares how Classical Education works with large families and young children. Brenda is the mom to 5 amazing children and she will share her nuggets of Wisdom, telling us how she stays on top of school, her home and her parenting!
Brandy Strouse Brandy, will be speaking to us about "Lapbooking". She has been married to her highschool sweet hear since ? and together they have two amazing children. Now we know that lapbooking is not a "philosophy" per se, but we have so many moms who ask about how to incorporate this that we decided to add this to our November line up! If you've always wanted to lapbook but don't know where to start then come ready to ask questions and take notes!
Autumn Lewis Autumn, will be speaking to us about the "Unit Study" approach to home education. Autumn has been married to her husband Keith for 20 years and together they have homeschooled their three children for since 1994. Autumn is an amazing homeschooler and has mentored many new moms as they start their journey. Autumn is a WONDERFUL speaker and I can tell you from personal experience you WILL walk away encouraged AND inspired in this most excellent journey! Come hear how to make your home more unit study friendly!
Niki Parsley Niki, will be speaking on how to have a "Charlotte Mason Education"! Niki is the mother of three beautiful children and has homeschooled her own family for 9 years. Prior to that she was a teacher at St.Petersburg Christian. Niki, has a LOVE of the One Room Schoolhouse feel of education. Learn how Gentle pursuits, short lessons, nature study and narration can put the love of learning back into your life.
