Question from a reader:
PRMama, is it possible to get a list of homeschoolers in my area (Durham, NC). I've done some searching but can't seem to find such a list to purchase.
PRMama says:
Thanks so much for asking. Many people want to know how to get marketing lists. In case you were wondering, The Old Schoolhouse and HomeschoolBlogger.com never sell our lists or divulge the names of our readers.
If you want to buy a list, Gena recommends contacting Rob Ambrose at Tri-Media Online.
If you want to be a bit more of a do-it-yourselfer, you could start by contacting all of the homeschool support groups in your area and then offering a door prize or to speak to their group and giving people an opportunity to sign up to get more information from you.
You'll also want to be on the look out for homeschool conventions in your area. They are a wonderful opportunity to meet homeschool families and network with other homeschooling businesses.
Thanks for asking!

One thing you can do is get on Google and look for homeschooling support groups. Many of them include a P.O. box or email addresses. There are hundreds out there.
