Cross-Promotion Ideas

9:07 AM, Mar. 28, 2006, posted by homeschooling
Do you have any product of value that you would like to GIVE AWAY? I've actually found cross promotion to be a valuable marketing idea. There are many options for these swaps and they are all personalized, whatever we agree on is what we do. Oh, the joy of being the "boss" and making our own decisions!

Some ideas

1) I put your free offer on my home page for a limited time, you let me advertise in your newsletter and or put a link at your site to my site.

2) I offer one of your products free when customers buy one of my products. There is a permanent, or semi-permanent (depending on how long we agree to do this) link to your site.

3) I put up a banner on my home page for a limited time and advertise in my newsletter and you give me a product. (I got Rosetta Stone Italian free by doing something like this. This would work more for those of you actively homeschooling. I would probably not be interested in this any more.)

4) Another idea the Lord gave me was to sell advertising in my books to pay printing costs. Only Appalachian has refused my books because of the advertising. Another option is to include contributor's articles with links within the text for a fee. (So much less expensive for them to do this, thanto print an entire book!)

If you have any other ideas for free promotion, please share them!
