Dream Big!

Not sure if I mentioned it here yet this week, but TOS is celebrating it's 5th birthday this week. Yep, this magazine that started out 5 years ago as an enewsletter born out of an ebay curriculum business, has really grown.
For Paul & Gena it's been a wild ride. Who would have thought 5 years ago that they would be publishing the largest Christian homeschool magazine with over 16,000 subscribers worldwide? Who would have thought they would have had the opportunity to minister to homeschoolers over the pond in the UK? They would be the first ones to tell you that all of the glory for the growth and success of TOS belongs to directly to God. They've had to learn a lot along the way through research, wise counsel from others, and just good old fashioned trial and error. And they've always been blessed by God's grace to take care of things even when they've made mistakes.
So, we press on here at TOS. Remember the other day when I shared a press release with you? Well I had also written another one about HSB's 1st Anniversary - Blogging Unites Families Worldwide. I submitted it to 4 of the free press release services - www.arrivenet.com, www.prleap.com, www.prweb.com, and www.pressmethod.com and a few local media outlets in Florida where they were having the Blogger Brunch at FPEA.
We didn't get picked up by the local Florida media, but we have a man from Japan contact us about distributing TOS in Japan! We've also recently had 2 people from Australia contact us about distributing TOS there. And shhhh.... we have a big international promotion coming soon.
So as you're dreaming and planning for your homeschool related busniness, dream big. Maybe even internationally. Homeschooling is growing not only in the US, but also in many other countries. And they don't have a lot of homeschooling materials available in some countries yet. Think about it. Dream big.
