TOS BACK ISSUES AVAILABLE!
11:03 PM, Nov. 7, 2005

Did you know that BACK ISSUES of The Old Schoolhouse Magazine are now available for purchase through the TOS website?  Not only can you subscribe online and grab a copy of the current issue, you can also pick up copies of previous editions of The Old Schoolhouse

Visit our Shopping Cart and get 'em while you still can.  I happen to have just received an inventory list that shows we only have ONE box of the Winter 2004 edition of TOS left...that is about THIRTY COPIES.  Yes, I said 30 copies of Winter 2004.  Thirty isn't many, is it?  That was a fantastic issue, if you didn't see it.  Amelia Harper's "Media Spotlight" hit the spotlight that quarter, and Gena Suarez explained to us how chickens eat cookies.  (Not grasping that concept?  You'll have to read her article about it.  Trust me, it's grand!)  Winter 2004 was also our Classical issue...those of you using the Trivium or Charlotte Mason methods will find items of interest.  Of course, I can't even explain how much I enjoyed the special feature about Roy Rogers and the gang.  Yes, folks, PRMama is a closet cowgirl.  Who'da thunk it?

There aren't too many left of Spring 2003 either...this issue had our special tribute to Dr. Raymond Moore and an exclusive interview with musician Michael Card.  Those of you who are homeschooling students with special learning needs might enjoy revisiting the interview with the fine folks from NATHHAN.  I just love them to bits!  Let's not forget that Jen Igarashi brought up the whole "cry baby" issue that quarter too.  *grin*

I could go on and on, but I'd be keeping you away from your back issues then, wouldn't I?  These back issues make great Christmas gifts for your friends as well...if you know a family at church or in your co-op who is just starting out, you might want to surprise them with a subscription to TOS along with some back issues to help them feel prepared.

You can click and shop using the links above, or call our fantastic Customer Service folks at 1-888-718-HOME (4663).  Tell the ladies there I said "HI!" when you place your order.  It'll give them a giggle and I'm sure they'll brighten your day too.  Let me know which back issues you order and which one your favorite is...and if you get one of those last few prized copies of Winter 2004!
