Am trying something a little different this year. Along with the usual things we cover during our summer school session (reading, math, language skills, writing,(including remedial work wherever needed) ASL, swimming, sports, crafts, movies, and projects, we are adding contests. The weekly contests are spelling and geography bees, a science fair, art and poetry writing contests, and summer long reading, Bible reading and blessing contests. The blessing contest is all about finding ways to bless others. In the meantime, I'm continuing to get school plans together, but that's another entry... |
