I'm happily married to my college sweetheart of almost 29 years and blessed to be Mom to
our 5 miracles, 2 boys and 3 girls, ages 7-25. We all live in our version of "This
Old House", a 50's suburban ranch here in the heart of Long Island, NY, just an hour east of NYC.
We're currently completing our 21st year of homeschooling. The oldest 2 have already graduated and
gone to college. One teaches kindergarden and the other is a mechanic. I guess you would call me a
"relaxed homeschooler", using a combination of Christian and carefully screened secular textbooks and
materials, classic and Christian literature, computer CD-Roms, self-designed materials and various
activities, especially in the performing arts, since we're all musical in one way or another, love
crafts, act or dance. I'm a singer in music ministry and in Messianic Jewish ministry, both in song
and in helping my husband conduct Messianic Passover Seders and other Messianic activities. I've
been a Messianic believer in our Messiah for 31 years. My hobbies include music (singing and
listening), various crafts, gardening, writing (mostly on homeschooling) and helping my hubby to
continue to renovate our home. I'm developing an online business buying and selling used homeschooling
curriculum, etc., writing unit studies and slowly working on completing my bachelor's degree
via distance learning.
