Chinglish--Christian Bilingual homeschooling in Taiwan

May. 13, 2008 - Homeschool news......

never know what to title these blogs!!

Our IOWA tests came in the mail today. I think we might do them next week as dh will be here and he can keep ds3 occupied while I test the others. DH leaves the 23rd for China. Then we can get it all done and over with before baby Anna comes.

Speaking of Miss Anna Joy............did I mention she hasn't turned yet? Dr will see how things are on the 23rd (we will go in the AM so Luke is there with me). We have penciled in a c/section for June 12th. So if she doesn't turn, then basically we will do a c/section. Dr. wants to do it at the main hospital, not his clinic. He will due to the surgery, so I am ok i guess with that. But I have my rules: nursing ASAP, baby in my room, and NO RESIDENTS/dr in training come poking at me. We will be in a teaching hospital, and I have had bad stories been told and bad stories about the hospitals..........so...........that's where we are.

Ds1 has been doing Spelling 3 with Spectrum Spelling book I have, done well so far. We have had a better day today with the attitude!!! I am thinking he is hitting  a hormone stage......he is getting the "manly" smell after basketball or being outside (aka....body odor!!) and has even had a few pimples (daddy tells him he must of been looking at some pretty girls, that's why he has pimples!!!! a Chinese thing I think)....of course we have the hormonal attitude to go with it...........never a dull moment here
