Has it been a bit over a month?

I can't believe it has been that long since updating this blog. WOW!!!

We have been busy with babies. As you know, we have had 2 unwed moms want to give up the baby for adoption. So we have them at our house since we have no one to watch them. We do have a young lady here to help though. We are praying that end of February, one  will go to his forever home and the other end of March.

We have been doing school, though in bits and pieces. It is difficult to get my boys to sit down and stay focused when the babies seem to take turns at needing something. Our Anna Joy is 6 months old and nursing, so I can't really hand her off to someone else!!!LOL!!

The best thing that has worked for my oldest is list. I am a listmaker, though not necessary do what is on it:-).....But for my 10yr old, he takes pleasure in crossing off the list. So, next week I will have to make myself really do that. I did it for two weeks and that went well, at least  got stuff accomplished. Didn't this week and well, we feel out of the loop. So back to the list we go. Of course, now our 6yr old, who does like 3 things, wants a list.........

On the nonschool front: someone gave the boys a hamster.......ds1 calls her Buttercup and ds2 calls her Amy....LOL!!! NOW we might have to go and get another one. Anna is teething I think. She is really enjoying chewing on anything she can grab. Unfortunately, the other day she grabbed a bowl of hot soup. That was not a good afternoon. Poor thing cried for 2 hours before finally nursing to sleep, but that was cause I held up her hand and wouldn't let her move it. We have ointment on it and keep it wrapped up. There are a number of humungous blisters on it too. But, you know...........after her nap the day it happened..........she woke up clapping her hands!!?!?!?! go figure

Oh, our van got rearended by a young man driving a motorcycle. DH was sitting at the red light when BOOM, the 19yr old just ran into him. The guy, and his 20yr old passenger, were drunk at 9:30am!!! Thankfully, the police officer who came to the scene is a Christian. Now we are just waiting on the agreement to fix the van................which we won't have til probably February. Chinese New Year is the last week of January, and EVERYTHING closes for a week then............

Well, that is us in a nutshell.............I'll try to do better, promise!!!
