Why Knot
Oct. 17, 2006 - Searching for topics relevant to my blogees

The way this blog is designed, most folks who come here click through to other articles and do not comment. I'm fine with that. Although some debate on my opinions would be welcome, I'm more concerned with keeping up to date on relevant issues related to homeschooling in general and/or homeschooling in the media.

That said, I'd like a few of you who do come through regularly to tell me what issues I can focus on that YOU are interested in. I've found it very easy to keep up with any particular issue I am interested in and would like to improve this site by tailoring it to your homeschooling interests as well as my own.

Now of this post goes over as well as that poll I had up did, I'll have to question whether this site has any use at all!

Hey PC,

Did you realize your initials are PC? Ha ha.

I like to read about whatever YOU find interesting. That's the honest truth. That's what I like about blogs in general. They are personal to the person writing them.

Of course any homeschooling topic is of interest to me.

I second that....I think everything you have posted so far has been interesting! I shared with my girls about the mother who was put in jail in Germany for homeschooling her children. They looked at me in disbelief! It was a good opportunity to remind them of the blessings we have here living in America where we are free to do so many things....things that we take forgranted everyday! It was also an opportunity to pray for other Christians in different parts of the world. Keep up the good work!

As a father, with soon-to-be homeschool aged children I have taken an interest in the subject, and been watching the movement as it grows in our culture. Who can blame us for wanting to protect our beloved children from the horrible influences of our public indoctrination centers. Societal opposition to homeschooling seems to be coming out of the woodwork as organizations like the Teachers Unions and other socialistic groups realize that somebody might actually disagree with them. My thought is that I just might be able to serve those of like mind in some small way through this blog. We'll see if my concept plays out well or not. To God be the Glory, Papa Chanoli
