This blog will be used for talking about the developmental milestones and educational progress my son's make.

     My five year old has autism. He has the ability to communicate his problem is he needs more recepeptive language and understanding of five year old vocabulary. His social skills are also somewhat delayed.

     My two year old also needs help with his development. His developmental age does not match his chronological age. He will be three years old in May. I probably will do an official evaulation on him myself. ECI (Early Childhood Intervention) came and evaluated him. They determined that he is four months delayed in recpetive and expressive language.

     I wish I could homeschool but it does not fit with my lifestyle. I also have a six month old daughter and household duties to perform. So I guess you could call what I do "part time homeschooling" When my five year old is not in school I do things with him. I have taught him how to read and I am working on his social skills. He very easily gets attached to strangers and does not play age appropriate games.
