Show and Tell- A new book!!
I love to read. I enjoy various authors such as; Beverly Lewis, Wanda E. Brunstetter, Lori Copeland, Lori Wick. I love to read about the Amish. I find their seperated lives to be very interesting. I found a new (she has written under another name) author and I really enjoyed her book. It's based around the Amish and very enjoyable. From the first page to the last page it was a great read!!. I read it in almost one sitting!!. It's very clean and safe reading. Shelley has been kind enough to answer some of my questions recently, so I thought I would give her book a plug! This is book one, "Hidden" in a series called "The Sisters of the Heart". Book two "Wanted" comes out in January. I can't wait!! "Hidden" was just chosen by Crossings and is on sale now.
You can find Shelley's website -------> Here

Show and Tell--Desert Iguana
I did a S&T like this last year of only one Iguana. Yesterday we had two in our backyard. I am guessing it was a male and female, since one was smaller than the other. Here is some information on them---> Desert Iguana. I think they are kinda neat. And boy, can they run fast!!
This is the female...

This is the male (it was bigger).

Show and Tell---A new blog look and a new shiny coin.
Like my new blog look? I sure do.. My daughter Julia made it for me since my one year blog-birthday is on April 1st. We are a little early, I know. If you encounter any problems with the blog like can't read the font etc, please let me know.
When I was on my way home from WA, I tried to get a snack for Brandon at a vending machine.I put in my dollar and it spit back change. I didn't know what I was looking at, then I realized it was a $1 gold coin. I was not aware there even was a Presidential gold coin program, till I found one by accident. You can find out about it here -----> Gold coin. I hope to find more to add to my new collection.
Here is the front.. Sorry I can't get a better picture, the closer I got it got blurry. It's James Monroe

Show and Tell x2
Part one of my S&T is a slide show. My daughter and son decided to decorate the courtyard. They took some remaining flagstone and painted their names on the stone. Then they repotted several plants. I should have taken a before picture, but there was nothing to take a picture of. Now it's decorated. Even the dog "Newman" has his own stone.
Part Two, is that my son has a blog now. He/we will be posting his school work and fun things that he does. He is very excited about it. He has grown a Sunflower, which you can see in this slide show but more pictures can be found on his blog, too.
