Five Things that Make My Blood Boil
(Just so you don't think I'm always negative, check out the first post in this category.)
1. Abortion.
2. The NEA's 2007-2008 Resolutions:
2007-2008 NEA RESOLUTIONS
3. The way it is okay to teach about ANY religion in the Public School, as long as its not the Christian religion.
4. Policies that claim to be for diversity, and you better agree or you will be sued.
5. Being told that my kid's education is not "real world", as if the real world was small enough to fit in Public School classroom.

right there with you....
on all points -
Number 6: When people indicate that our kids will be deprived or neglected because we have five children. If only they could see how our #5 gets so much more attention than we could have ever given #1.

I agree with your list. Even when I taught in public school, I didn't agree with the NEA!

It's so hard to face these things knowing how misguided those who think they are ok are. When I think on these issues and the depravity that these poor sould have and how in my own life that depravity could have taken place, I feel so humbled. These things make me praise my God for so mercifully saving me from my sin which would include being a proponent of these and probably many other issues.
Yes, they make me upset, they also make me sad. Sad for those who think it is a good thing to support the issues that tear families apart, lead to illness and brokeness. I am sorrowful for their blindness that once scaled my very eyes.
Even so Lord Jesus, Come. May many more folks realize the snares of the Devil and the lies of the flesh. May their hearts be freed and their sould saved.
