No Wonder!

JESUS IS COMING SOON! MARANATHA LORD!

************************************************************************************************

Today I realized that my dog and cat were one day overdue for their monthly flea treatment.  Now, this treatment is very important because my kitty is allergic to flea bites and will break out in a horrible rash, and even lose large clumps of hair if we don't keep on top of the flea situation.  So I went immediately to get his treatment.

I opened up the outer packet (the blue one) and took out the inner packet.  I bent the little tab away from me... the only problem is, if you bend the tab away, the opening is toward you... the teeniest micro-drop of the stuff flew out of the opening and exploded like a nuclear warhead in my eye!

No wonder fleas don't like this stuff!  I handed the flea stuff to my daughter, stuck my face in the kitchen sink, and rinsed my eyeball off with water from the faucet.  After showering my eye and drying off, I had to hunt down the kitty who had slipped outside at some point in the commotion.

Well, I guess the kitty is taken care of for another month.  Next time maybe I should get the safety goggles from our chemistry set!

I have been sick in bed and missed a bunch with you and I see all the fun. We gave Faith one of those mystery eggs two. I missed the hatching. Hers was a dinosaur, don't know the kind/name. Love the pictures, you are doing great with them. I hope your eye is feeling better, that must have hurt?? I love the clue and hiding thing with the kids, looks like they had great fun. Well I need to head to bed, I wasn't planning on being up this late, with church tomorrow and I don't have the class prep done as I was sick and missed Bib;e School Thursday and didn't get to pick up the book for me week in the room. So I have to go a little extra early tomorrow.
Have a Blessed Sunday. God Bless you,

I posted a nice long comment and then homeschool blogger locked up on me and I lost it!! Wah!
Oh well, basically I was saying that I love your pictures! The abstracts were very good, that is something I always have a hard time with. I took a black & white photography & developing class a few years ago and they wanted us to do a lot of abstracts. I'm with you, I love pictures like the plum blossom best!

You've got to be careful!!! Not that you don't know that now! (rolling eyes at myself!) I hear you about the fleas. Hateful things. I've just treated my cats and they both ran away and have been giving me dirty looks. I feel bad having to put chemicals on them but it beats fleas and ticks and worms...Oh my!

Hope your eye is ok! I have enjoyed your blog so much! showed my grandmother your pics and she likes them too. Your Winter shots were FAB! by the way. the abstract ones are really neat too. You've got a good eye for it. Well, maybe after today you will only have ONE good eye!! HAH HAHAHAHAHAH!!!! just kidding! :)

A record of our homeschooling journey (and my random thoughts), as we look to the Lord to show us the Path Of Life. We are a homeschooling family with a strong leaning toward the Classical and Charlotte Mason styles, but since we blend the two philosophies, along with whatever other ideas we like, we classify our homeschool as eclectic.

I Am: 60% Dog, 40% Cat
I am a nice blend of cat and dog.
I'm playful but not too needy. And I'm friendly but careful.
And while I have my moody moments, I'm too happy to stay upset for long.
