Well, I guess its time to catch up on some photos for our Project 365.
I'll just post the photos, the dates they were taken, and perhaps a short sentence commenting on them when appropriate.
April 23rd- Another Unexpected Visitor:
April 26th, Our New Globe:
April 26th, Our Old Globe (Notice it has no stand):
April 29, for our History and Geography Studies, Turkish Dancing Bears, they are not glued to the paper, they have moving arms and legs made out yarn, the paper just made a good clear background to set them on:
Youngest daughter's bear:
Son's Bear:
Also April 29, for our Science studies, our Rain Gage, sitting on an antique cream separator from back when this property had milk cows:
Well, as usual, I have more to blog about, but not enough time, so until later... God bless you and have a wonderful day!
I am wanting a new globe. Our old globe looks exactly like your old one, it doesn't have a stand either. But you get a better view of Antarctica that way! Since it was mine, and given to me in grade school (!) it is also a little out of date...
Cute bears and congrats on the new globe. I had to giggle at your old one. Been there, done that. I love that apple tablecloth. My kitchen is decorated with apples.*smile*
I wanted to let you know that I am hosting my first giveaway over at my blog! It is to celebrate Mother's Day! Stop by and tell me why you are happy to be a mother and you could win an awesome devotional book, a journal and a cooking with kids CD-Rom.
Enjoy your weekend with your family!

A record of our homeschooling journey (and my random thoughts), as we look to the Lord to show us the Path Of Life. We are a homeschooling family with a strong leaning toward the Classical and Charlotte Mason styles, but since we blend the two philosophies, along with whatever other ideas we like, we classify our homeschool as eclectic.
Our School Mascot
As you can see, my kids adopted a school mascot, feel free to feed him an apple or brush him by clicking on the button that says "more".

I am a nice blend of cat and dog.
I'm playful but not too needy. And I'm friendly but careful.
And while I have my moody moments, I'm too happy to stay upset for long.
Mr. Potato Head You have your ideal of how things should look, but youre flexible enough to allow for change. You are not bothered by changing methods, mid-course if necessary. You use an eclectic combination of curriculum sources. Visit my blog: http://www.GuiltFreeHomeschooling.org Take this quiz!
