JESUS IS COMING SOON! MARANATHA LORD!

Hi friends, if you need to silence the music just hit the play/pause button on the player in the right sidebar, just below the black horse and the copyright notice.
This is a funny video I first saw a few months ago. You have probably seen it too, but if not; Enjoy!
This came in my e-mail from a Yahoo Group for homeschooling. The person who posted it believed that it "may" have been written by a Mr. Scott Ott, but they were not sure. So Mr. Ott, if this is your work I am hereby crediting you for it, otherwise the author is unknown.
1. Most parents were educated in the under funded public school system, and so are not smart enough to homeschool their own children.
2. Children who receive one-on-one homeschooling will learn more than others, giving them an unfair advantage in the marketplace. This is undemocratic.
3. How can children learn to defend themselves unless they have to fight off bullies on a daily basis?
4. Ridicule from other children is important to the socialization process.
5. Children in public schools can get more practice "Just Saying No" to drugs, cigarettes and alcohol.
6. Florescent lighting may have significant health benefits.
7. Publicly asking permission to go to the bathroom teaches young people their place in society.
8. The fashion industry depends upon the peer pressure that only public schools can generate.
9. Public schools foster cultural literacy, passing on important traditions like the singing of "Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg..."
10. Homeschooled children may not learn important office career skills, like how to sit still for six hours straight
To Mr. Ott, or whoever wrote this, I am not attempting to plagiarize you, but simply to display your talent for telling the (sad) truth in a humorous way!
This showed up in my e-mail, I don't know who the original author is, but it is funny. (Lets just hope it doesn't actually happen.)
Subject: A Doctors' Convention A Japanese doctor says, "Medicine in my country is so advanced that we can take a kidney out of one man, put it in another, and have him out looking for work in six weeks." A German doctor says, "That is nothing. We can take a lung out of one person, put it in another, and have him out looking for work in four weeks." A British doctor says, "In my country medicine is so advanced that we can take half a heart out of one person, put it in another, and have both of them out looking for work in two weeks." The American doctor, not to be outdone, interjected, "You guys are way behind. We are about to take a woman with no brains, send her to Washington where she will become President, and then half the country will be out looking for work."
Now, if you don't agree, I am sorry, but I just found it too funny NOT to post.
A record of our homeschooling journey (and my random thoughts), as we look to the Lord to show us the Path Of Life. We are a homeschooling family with a strong leaning toward the Classical and Charlotte Mason styles, but since we blend the two philosophies, along with whatever other ideas we like, we classify our homeschool as eclectic.
Our School Mascot
As you can see, my kids adopted a school mascot, feel free to feed him an apple or brush him by clicking on the button that says "more".

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE PLUS VERSION! IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND THEN SOME!
I am a nice blend of cat and dog.
I'm playful but not too needy. And I'm friendly but careful.
And while I have my moody moments, I'm too happy to stay upset for long.
Mr. Potato Head You have your ideal of how things should look, but youre flexible enough to allow for change. You are not bothered by changing methods, mid-course if necessary. You use an eclectic combination of curriculum sources. Visit my blog: http://www.GuiltFreeHomeschooling.org Take this quiz!
