Well, I survived week 1 of my detox. I actually felt pretty good until Friday. I had noticed prior to that some tummy cramping after taking my ground flaxseed. Thursday evening I had a lot of cramping and the same Friday morning. Friday night was horrible and by Saturday I was feeling totally under the weather. I tried to put the ground flaxseed on my salad at dinner and it did not help the cramping started again and this time it was horrible. I felt bad all of Sturday and most of Sunday with flu like symptoms which according to the detox is all signs the detox is working. I actually slept most of Saturday and slept in very late Sunday morning. I was feeling a bit better Sunday night and a bit better today.
I skipped the flaxseed all day Sunday. I took 1/2 the recommended amount this morning and was doing ok but the cramping is starting again. So, is the cramping necessary for the detox or do I cut the flaxseed altogether? That is the question. I handle the oil alright but not the ground flaxseed. I think I will find an alternative for this.
Results last week. Lost 3 pounds, sleeping has improved. |
