Wow, last week was crazy busy. There's been a lot I'd liked to have written about, but no time.
First, go here and read an update on Gena Suarez and baby Susanna. And check out the ticker at the top of the page - heading for the finish line! Praise God! It has been a difficult pregnancy at times, but God is caring for their needs and answering prayer.
Now, I want you to read about what's happening in California in the government school system (a.k.a. public school). I posted that HERE. But go HERE first, and read about every five year old being mentally ill. Yes, you read it right - the government schools must begin fixing these mentally impaired children as soon as they enter through the door.
On a personal level, October is a very special month for me, because in it my very first child was born;
Happy Birthday, Bethany! (Oct. 1)

And ... my very last child was born (unless God has more planned for me, but I doubt it, as I am approaching 50 years of age in January!)
Happy Birthday Isaac! (Oct. 14)

In other news, we've been pretty active. We go to the zoo regularly (weekly), sometimes for classes for homeschoolers, and sometimes just to go for free time. We also went on a field trip to Fort Ricky (a game farm). We opted out of soccer and group lessons, mostly because of the length of time it takes in a day. I feel this gave me opportunities to do other things I usually would not take the time to do (like the zoo! which fits in nicely with our study on animals this quarter).
