Along we go, on a path of destruction we've been on for decades now. Blame, blame, blame. This administration, that administration.
Half of the country was against Lincoln. Half was against Bush. The media tells us what to think, then they tell us what we think. A nation of dumb sheep, controlled by the media. Who is controlling the media? Hmmmm.
The fact is, no president is as bad as they say, and no president is going to fix it - as they say. Obama is not going to save the day, and Bush didn't break the day. It was a combination of factors that have brought America to the brink of destruction - I've read the accusations against the Cinton administration and what he did to bring the housing market to what it is today.
It's like a big plate of spaghetti, one long strand, all mixed up, and we couldn't begin to straighten it out and place the blame where it truly belongs.
But that is the name of the game. It's the blame game. And then there's the "savior" game - who is going to save the day? Obama, of course. Oh, puleeze.
So where is America headed? Global, I believe. One world government. I believe Obama will help to lead us there. This is an interesting read. A majority of the people believe that Obama will save the day. His is a good orator, so he will easily convince the masses, and they will believe we are headed in the right direction. The only possible direction.
In my belief system, this is all bible prophecy coming to pass. Seeing it in the news every day ... evokes many emotions. Sadness for the world, and it's blindness. Awe that I am standing in the day I am in, watching such events come to pass. A desire to make every day count for Christ. I wonder, what shoe is going to drop today, and then when will the other shoe drop?
I am glad that my hope is not in our bank account, or who became president, or who won our local elections. My hope is not in my husband keeping his job, or having a home to live in tomorrow. My hope is in the King of kings, Lord of lords.
Matthew 6:
25"For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26"Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?
27"And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?
28"And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,
29yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.
30"But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!
31"Do not worry then, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear for clothing?'
32"For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34"So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
