Our Monday

Today was a gorgeous day! This AM we went to the park with two other families from our homeschool group. The boys had a wonderful time playing at the park and we ate lunch there. This afternoon I played "catch-up" with the laundry, took a little nap, and then made burritos for dinner. I did a little weeding and picked squash, zucchini, broccoli, and cucumbers from the garden. My tomatoes still are not ready. I am afraid that they will come in two weeks when we are on vacation. *sigh* I am so blessed to have a thriving garden! This evening Dh and the boys went for a walk. Dh is such a blessing to me. I love that he is so involved with the boys and willing to do things with them like this. I took the oppertunity to weed the strawberries. I also read a little bit from my "Spell to Write and Read" teacher's manuel. I want to figure it all out before August. I think that it will really work well with my 5 yo. |
