WOW! It's been a long while since I've blogged. We've just been so busy, from campouts, to talent shows, to year-end ceremonies.... and all the while, continuing to homeschool. We school year round, so no summer breaks for us!

This is LEFT hand side where the timeline starts. (in the kitchen) the piece of cardstock is "beginning of time" type things. then the YARN starts. it is held up with tacks every so often. it "loops" around back and forth and back and forth.. until it gets to the top of that wall.

Then it goes clear across two doorways and a closet and starts back down again on the wall in the schooling area (dining area) with the RIGHT hand photo.

Timeline figures are shrunk from their original sizes and adhered to cardstock, cut out and a hole is punched at the top. Then a regular paper clip is looped through and used to hang the figures by. Like i said CHEAP and EASY.
If one didn't mind spending a bit more money i might suggest a bit stronger of a "line" rather than plain ol' yarn. (that just happens to be what i had an excess of. LOL) i'd perfer something like a cording or thin rope/closeline or something. but it works! and to prevent too much sagging, just add more tacks. LOL
