Guess what's coming in!

Yeah, they're coming in alright! Slow and steady I guess.

I also have spotted a second green pepper as well as tomatoes forming on the green zebra plant! woohoo! Will need to thin out the newest sprouts of carrots soon. Cherry tomatoes are driving me crazy. There are so many GREEN ones on the plant, we've already eaten the 6-7 red ones that came, now just waiting for the greenies to turn red!!! Oh, picked our first cuke yesterday, too! Haven't eaten it yet though. Hmmmm, that sounds like a yummy evening snack: cucumber and some cream cheese! WOOHOO!

Green Beans!

Posted by indyandarmysmom
I'm so jealous! We planted a few things this year, but my tortoise got into the strawberries and some green inch worms are eating all my snap peas. I don't even know what happened to the lettuce and huge grass hoppers are all over the yard!
Oh well! At least the pumpkins are doing ok!

Hello!
I found you from your other no-longer-maintained site which I got a link to from Cindy Rushton's site about lapbooking! So, when I followed the links to your blog here, I was tickled to see you are in Illinois, like us. :) Anywhere near Chicago?
Kudos on your beans! Mine didn't even come up this year! (The other stuff is doing okay, though...)

LUCKY!!!

Our garden is still very green. I planted potatoes before the storm... then had to wait for everything to dry up before I could get all the rest of the stuff planted. So it's like I have 2 different gardens. The peas got washed away -- so no peas.

Enjoy the fruits of your labor! Ü

green tomatoes

Posted by Kate
Don't you know that all the tomatoes are waiting for each other? Yes, it would make more sense if they took turns turning red, but you know they just can't do that! Instead they will all wait till everyone is ready and the boom! instant garden of red tomatoes- more then you could handle in a month all ready at once. Enjoy your tomatoes and cucumbers.

I do like AO. I thought it was only British history, but I guess that doesn't make sense. I will have to look over them again. Thanks.

I just picked our first beans today. As of two days ago, though, my cukes are about 1 in long.....
