I subscribe to a LOT of blogs, too many to list here.
But I'll change this listing up from time to time, as the mood hits me.

Friday Wrap-up
For some unknown real DD and myself both got up earlier than usual. (DH was already up anyway for work.) While this let us start our day sooner it sure has left me tired today! aack!
Today's assignments have all been completed.
This was just a screen shot of the printout she gets each day for her assignments. She gave a nice short narration on the Burgess book selection and a detailed narration on the Waterbabies book. We all watched a bit of Close Encounters of the Third Kind today at lunchtime. (An ongoing viewing until we get it completed. LOL)
Today's MEP math lesson was a review so that was quick. We've all but finished up with the French & Indian War. I think she just needs to adhere her things into her notebook. We closed out our day with some Folk Song singing and some practice drawing with Thomas Kinkade.
**Edited to add: To answer a reader's questions... the print out is what I generate daily from Homeschool Tracker Plus. I've been using it since, oh April or so maybe? It was a real challenge for me to decide to "give up paperwork" as I was so VERY used to writing up our lesson plans into the various journals & planners I've made. The one I was using at the time of the switch I was VERY VERY happy with, but some (then) recently added features to HST really drew me in. I love the flexibility of it and the ease. Anyway, more than you asked, I know. LOL
And about the Kinkade art program... it is EASY for me to implement. That was a necessity. I went with it as my DD had been asking to learn "how to draw real stuff" so I found this program. The workbooks are clear in their instructions, easy for her to follow. The video is something we'll probably keep all of homeschooling for a "refresher" from time to time, even once she's already completed the workbooks. Would I buy it again now, knowing what I know? Absolutely. I have nothing negative to say about it at all. It was a good investment for us.
neat
Also how do you like Thomas Kinckage drawing program?
