I subscribe to a LOT of blogs, too many to list here.
But I'll change this listing up from time to time, as the mood hits me.

Laptop Lunches #1
Today was the first day we used our new LAPTOP LUNCHboxes. I first heard about these clever meal containers... oh when was it? Last fall perhaps? I had been following (and still follow) the blog THE VEGAN LUNCH BOX. (no, we're not vegans.)
Anyway, these are compact boxes but are bigger than the bento boxes we own. Nice size for those days your lunch NEEDS to hold you over until dinner time (such as today... a homeschool co-op day!)
Here's my lunch from today. (Click on photo to see it larger and with notes.)
And here's my DD's lunch. (Click on photo to see it larger and with notes.)
We bought our LAPTOP LUNCHboxes locally from Little Skye in Grayslake, IL. The owner was really helpful and boy, she has the CUTEST store, indeed!
I couldn't get the comments to work on the flickr site tho.
You really need to move to Japan...take me with you! I am planning ot shop for more bento stuff when we go home in Dec. but I heard Daie CLOSED so it's downtown to Shirokiya I guess.
I love the Vegan Lunchbox blog!!! I love Schmoo!!! It is a small world indeed. Why do we want to read about other people's lunches anyway? Maybe ours tend to be boring??? Anyway, just think it is funny that we both read that blog.
Barb-who's hubby gets a version of a laptop lunch everyday in his lunchbox (man-style)
How funny to view your blog today!
I logged onto the computer and iGoogle has How to Make Bento in their how-to for the day. http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Bento
Your lunches look great and it's certainly an idea I'm going to borrow

I think this type of lunch box organization would definitely be a help for getting a balanced lunch into a picky child's tummy. I know I will not be able to talk DH into spending that much for a lunchbox though. Maybe I will be able to come up with a fake bento idea :-)
Looks like a neat idea. I was reading on the CM Blog Carnival about another family going out to regular picnics with their "toothpick lunches", i.e. everything is cut up and can be picked up with toothpicks.
Too cute girl!
