It may look like a light "dusting" but don't be fooled. It's been snowing & sleeting all along since I took this photo. This photo was taken out our back patio window. Center of the picture is my daughter's
cornstalk. We opted to leave it up and just let nature take its course. The empty, rounded white patch is where our
garden was this past season. (Aaahhhh, how I wish we had some fresh broccoli again!)
And no, my husband hasn't yet moved the "bird stick" (as I like to call it) that holds the bird feeder and accompanying plant pot. It needs moved to the left of our yard so the
sledding "hill" he'll shovel up & build this winter will have a sledding path. LOL Oh, and for the record... what you're seeing is our backyard, yes, but the storage shed at the right of the photo is two houses away. Yes, "our" yard is quite narrow. It's a townhouse with common grassy area. (Note that last year's yard, in the sledding hill photo linked above, had a fence at the right. Those neighbors moved out and took their fence with them. LOL)
Anyhoo, DD has welcomed the snow. The pounding sleet & horribly blustery wind prevented her from playing outside in the first snow. I assured her there was PLENTY of time to do so this winter, with ample snow fall sure to happen. She's looking forward to it, even if the excitement of snow play only lasts about a week...LOL... after that, it becomes "old hat." LOL
Congrats!
