Thankful Thursday

1.) I'm thankful for the adorable little Juncos that come to our snow-covered patio, faithfully, so long as we've put out birdseed for them. We love watching the various birds in our yard in the warmer months and were looking forward to the return of the Juncos this winter. I love the way they sort of hop forward/backwards to scratch at the snow.
2.) I'm thankful for our heating system, I know many people throughout the world are without a working heat source and are cold. As I'm tucked away in our little navy-issued military housing I'm relatively warm. Yes, I probably should put some gloves on so my fingers aren't so cold as I'm typing this, but it is nothing compared to the homeless people in my area that are dealing with the current 0°F weather this morning.
3.) I'm thankful for my husband who goes out each morning in the wintery months to start both our vehicles, shovel the walk and driveway, and who hops in his car quick-as-a-lick when his wife is without a USB cable she needs and goes to the NEX to buy her one.
There's much more that God has provided for me and my family. All things are through Him. He knows my thankful heart, and that's enough for me. Thus, I'll leave this post with just these three things.
