Oct. 24, 2009 - Joshua's Party....Finally

We finally had Joshua's party today.  It had been put off a couple of times due to getting ready for Battle of the Bands and due to finances.  We were going to have to put it off again because of some unexpected bills and then we were completely and unexpectedly blessed by two friends in our church who gave us a very generous gift card to Peter Piper Pizza.  So we changed the location of the party to there from the park.   After all the changes, only two of Joshua's  friends were able to make it but he still had a great time.

Sep. 27, 2009 - My Boy Turns 6!!!

Happy Birthday Joshua!!!

We made cupcakes Sunday afternoon for him to take to co-op on Monday.

Joshua is an amazing son and brother!!!  He has such a caring heartJoshua's birthday fell on a Sunday.  We are still recouping from our Disneyland trip so we kept it low key and we are going to have his party in a couple of weeks.  Joshua wore his "birthday boy" button to church and got spoiled by everyone.  Daddy sang happy birthday to him at the end of the service and serveral of the "grandmas" gave him some money since it was his birthday.

Jul. 26, 2009 - Alexa is Three!!!!

Our little Tinker Bell

Alexa turned 3 today!!!  Yea!  On with the terrific three's and out with the terrible,  challenging, tiring wonderful twos.  A lot of moms say they have trouble with the threes but in our house it is the two's.

Anyways our little tinker bell was so excited to go to sleep last night knowing she was going to wake up as a three year old.  In the morning we had church so she got to pick which dress she wanted to wear and put on the birthday princess ribbon.  At church daddy had everyone sing "happy birthday" to her.  I guess that is a little perk if your dad is the worship pastor.

After church when daddy got home we had lunch then papa and grandma came over for cake.  We are going to try and plan a pool party later in the week but everytime it gets mentioned she says she already had her party.  I guess we are a party in ourself with 7 soon to be 8 of us!  So she is good!

Until September the ages are 11, 5, 4, 3, 1  We had fun calling them our "little rocket ship" when Alexa had turned one...it was 3,2,1 blast off!

Time for gifts.  It was so loving..they each wanted to give Alexa their own gift that they made.  Joshua drew her some pictures and even put princess stickers on them.

Daddy, Mommy, Natasha and baby Jadon got Alexa some Tinker Bell dress up clothes.  There were two outfits in there and she was so excited to put them on and share with Savannah.

Papa and Grandma got her some pony tail holders and a cute backpack she can take to co-op school.

Happy Birthday my dear Alexa Bexa!  It was great celebrating this special day with you.  We love how you bring a smile to everyone's face with your jokes and teasing.  I love how you come snuggle with me everymorning and greet me with kisses and hugs.  You are a very special girl!!

Jun. 3, 2009 - It's So Much Fun Turning One!!!

My baby is 1!!  You can click here to see her birth story. Natasha Grace has had a great year filled with many milestones and any day we are going to add walking to that list!  She has always been a happy, easy going baby.  We celebrated her birthday with two celebrations.  Since her birthday fell on a Wednesday we took a cake to church with us that night and everyone sang happy birthday to her.  Then we had a party the following Sunday.  What first birthday would be complete with out the birthday girl getting her first piece of cake!!  It was great and she chowed on it and would not let us take it away.

Apr. 25, 2009 - Savannah is 4!!!

 Wow Four Years old!!!  We had a busy weekend starting on Thursday.  Thursday afternoon Jay's sister came in town to stay with our kiddos.  Jay and I had a conference for new pastors it was just in Scottsdale but we got to stay the night in a hotel and it was all paid for!    We were gone all day on Friday and came back Saturday afternoon.  We had a great time but missed the kids.  I didn't get any pictures?!  So below is a slide show of this weekend.   I was sad not to be home on Savannah's birthday morning because we always decorate the birthday person's room and do gifts and cake but her Aunt Jutem and big sister took good care of her.  We always make the cake and Anastasia did a fablous Cinderella cake all on her own!!  We had just a couple of people over last minute between church and choir practice on Sunday for a small celebration.  Then on Monday I took the kids to Dariy Queen so Savannah could use her gift card from Pawpa and Grandma.  She was so excited and the kids loved the ice cream!!

Feb. 28, 2009 - Anastasia's Party

We finally had Anastasia's birthday party.  December just gets so crazy and I think it is nice to spread it out some.  This year she wanted to do a dog theme and collect things for the humane society.  We planned a scavenger hunt around the neighborhood for animal related things.  The girls also made home made dog treats and then we had pizza, ice cream and cake.  Anastasia made her own cake this year completely on her own.  She did an awesome job.

Anastasia decorated the cake like a yard and added flowers and completed it with a dog bone.
