3 days to go (Last Thursday I think)

Well, only 3 days to go till my trip and STILL so much to do!!! I'm in the middle of packing (is this wierd to start packing 5 days early?) and I'd like to leave my room clean which looks like a pigsty right now. Today mom is doing jewelry @ gram's but just a 1/2 day so I am trying to keep moving like a ball of fire to get everything done I need to, she really helps me stay motivated to finish the job, so not having her here slows me down.

Poppy is outside fixing the brakes on my tires and it needs some other things which I hope will get done soon and then Dad can take my truck for work and mom can have the SUV back. Not having a car lately has been frustrating for everyone, so we are trying to fix the problem. Hopefully my truck will be the answer. My truck is a small model so I hope it will fit my dad's needs and I think he's gonna try to fix his truck and sell it to get some money out of it, we've put A LOT of money into that truck and so has Poppy but I think that dad thinks it's time for Old Blue to go. I think it was my dad's grandfathers truck then his dad's then he bought it so it's pretty old I guess.

Yesterday I called my Aunt J and basically told her I missed her and that I hoped she was doing ok and told her she didn't have to call back but she did today and she left a message saying that she wanted to take me out to lunch after I got back from Tennesse and that my message had ment a lot to her. I'm so happy my message sent the right message. I could cry from happiness. The relationship between her and my family has been REALLY strained and I know this luncheon doesn't mean it's all ok but it a great start. I hope we can mend the relationship between her and us. My mom is really exausted with the roller coaster of the relationship with her every time she might say something wrong that she didn't know hurt Aunt J the friendship would crash so I hope it doesn't happen again. Not that I'm saying it was all our fault or her's but I don't want it happening again! Please pray for this situation and that it goes smoothly.

Yesterday we went our to celebrate Jones's 7th birthday since we didn't get to on her birthday. We had a very nice supper and went afterwards to have cake @ gram and poppy's:
