How many time does a mom expecting her 6th get a baby shower? Not many by my count.
She was TOTALLY surprised! This baby shower/blessing had been in the works for over a month and I had trouble getting her out the door until Mrs.S told one her friends who she hadn't seen in forever was going to be there and that did it she went! We went in Gram and Poppy's van and all of us cannot fit in their van and we're not ones to break any rules but we made it work!
Here me and Gram are sharing a seat: LOL
We got there and Mom was so surprised!
I think she was overwhelmed with the many gifts and wonderful generosity
Here is what they bought for our new bundle of joy :D
A changing table:
crib:
When mom saw 2 carseats she began jokingly saying: "Do you guys know something I don't?" Howling all the time (they said it came with the "package")
They also got us a double stroller that the baby's carseat can go on : Which I fail to take a picture of. (I know me missing a picture shot, shocking, I know)
Smoochie already discovered something to do with the changing table:
They had also ordered a cake:
This verse is one that Mrs.N read to mom as a blessing, here is the verse:
Psalms 127: 3-5
3Sons are a heritage for the Lord, children are a reward from him. 4Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in ones youth. 5Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not put shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate.
I think there is so much truth in that verse.
And here's Mrs.N reading it: (mom was to the side)
Gram and Poppy also gave the dearest blessing here is their blessing:
Daughter,
God has blessed you with five wonderful children, a devoted, loving husband, parents and friends that love you. We are so proud of you. You have been a blessing to us, honoring us you have served God so faithfully. You are truly a light in such a dark world.
As David said as he praised God, "You wove me in my mothers womb", "I am fearfully and wonderfully made".
Your children have also been fearfully and wonderfully made as they were woven in your womb. Each one is a unique individual, with each having so many special qualities that are their very own. They have brought us so much joy and pleasure. Each of them is a pleasure to be around.
May the baby you soon will bring into this world be blessed by God. May the baby be blessed with wisdom, good health, be full of spirt, a light in the world, a generous and loving heart, strong in the Lord, having the likeness of Jesus, good looks, the voice of an angel, and a love for God.
All children are a blessing from God. May God bless your growing family with health, prosperity. love for each other, serving God all the days of your lives. If you bless God in all you do, He will surely bless your efforts.
May this day live in your heart each and every day you live.
~DAD
That was Poppy's part, They both took turns reading their parts
Here is Grams:
Daughter,
your dad and I love you very much, and we are very proud of you. You have blessed us, honoring us from your birth. We love David like a son, and are gratefully blessed by how he loves you and the children. Our grandchildren are precious to us, bring us unspeakable joy.
Today, Dad and I want to speak a blessing over the little one you carry within. We ask God to bless the child with health of mind and body, with generosity of spirt, and love of God and all His creation.May your child be like Jesus in every way, being a light to all. May God bless this child with wisdom, and knowledge of His word. May God give your child compassion, mercy, faith, and boldness. May God breathe His Spirit into your tiny one, surrounding him or her with the knowledge of His presence.
Daughter, you are loved and cherished. May this child rise and call you blessed. Our prayer is that each and every one of your descendants will belong to Jesus, actively believe Him in all their days
~MOM
That is one of the most sweet blessings I've heard
The rest of the day I spent talking to Lauren who I hadn't seen in forever! And playing with siblings
Musical chimes (coolness!) Lauren is behind it smiling! LOL

A weird form of a seesaw
In the end a very good day:
We came home and took a very long nap! And the rest of the day worked itself.
Fritzy took a shower. (cute ain't he?)
Dad playing with the boys
Smoochie thought it was great fun hitting dad in the head with a balloon (rascel)
Ok thats it for now I'm going to close the journalizing book
Later,
Megan
