A dear friend recently mentioned this psalms to me and I hadn't thought about it in a long time. The last time I read this through I was about 8 and was memorizing it for bible class. I did memorize the entire thing and was very proud of myself. Today it is still my favorite. The Psalms: The Lord is my Shepard I shall not want, He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters, He restores me soul, He leads me down the paths of righteousness for His names sake, Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, Thy rod, Thy staff they comfort me, You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies, You anoint me head with oil, My cup runs over, Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord. Forever. I love this psalms. It is my favoraite. What is yours? |
