Thats right, OH BROTHER! They are SO different. They always tell you how much trouble they are. The truth is they have SO MUCH ENERGY! Pinging off the walls with energy almost like they just had 3 can of red bull. Even though we've never bought that stuff! Boys are Boys: loud, bouncy, sweet but rough. My brothers are so sweet (when they want to be) and a terror at other times (more often than not). My brother (Fritzy) finds the most inventive ways to make trouble. Not too long ago he would open his closet door and take down all the hung up clean clothes we had there so we'd have to clean the ones that got really dirty and put the still clean ones up. We got to the point where if you could shake off what was there, it was good to go. (he has a ajusted shelf to we have more room for the folded clothes in our handy clothes bins.) So we added a lock as high as we could put it. It was BRILLANT, we thought "yes! Now we have that problem solved." Or so we thought... A few days later I found him on top of his toy box, unlocking the door. *sigh* Well, the joy of this has worn off since and is leaving the clothes alone, even if we leave the door unlocked. (but we avoid that, at all costs!) Fritz has also been going through another stage I wish he wasn't. The escape plans. He has been going through his windows (and if you look at my last blog you will see how they look) and we recently were able to fix that by putting screens on ALL his windows, I wish there was a way to LOCK the windows! Why can't they invent something like that for boys?!? *sighs again* The girls NEVER did that they were quiet and sweet and learned from mistakes and hardly ever presisted in doing something wrong, like those sweet boys do. I'm noticing Smoochie is trying his best to get a little addittude. Little things like screeching when someone trys to take something from him, wacking when something makes him angry, oh boy. Not ready for him to "grow up". He is fastly approaching the 2 year mark. My little baby brother, *wipes a tear from cheek*. He has recently decided to be climbing out of his playpen and WILL NOT stop doing it so I'm afraid that the lovely playpen times have passed. Also around Fritzys age the girls could be trusted to be let out of their room and not get into EVERYTHING, well sadly, boys as well have found out cannot be trusted outside their room to play except when we watch them play in the backyard. I love them SO MUCH. But sometimes they drive me CRAZY!!! So my question is DO THEY EVER grow out of this?!?!? |
