...yes Fritzy has pulled a fast one on us...Last night we had a game night and my Daddy had gotten Mom a small package of 6 chocolate candies that were sugar-free so okay for her to eat right? She had one, then got tired after awhile of playing games and went to bed...forgetting about the candy. Well come morning it was missing, and we asked the girls..."Have you seen Mom's candy?" they both said they had not. We asked Fritzy..."did you get into mom's candy..."no, I didn't" he replied. We searched for at least 40 minutes for that bag....then it began, Fritz started to say his stomach hurt and we thought it was because he hadn't had breakfast yet, and mind you it's only 9:30am at this point, but by 10:15am he was beside himself with the extreme pain of gas, this continued on for an hour and we still had no idea where the candy was, or why he was crying but we were very sure that he was the eater. We showed him an older bag and he said..."oh, that?..."we replied..yes this did you eat any of mommy's candy from this bag?...he said.."well its in the trash, and the candy in my mouth."....you see what I mean?...he had cleverly with no one seeing him had eaten the candy, thrown away the evidence, and cleaned himself up. Because there were NO TRACES on him! Sure enough mom went through the trash and found 5 wrappers and the empty bag. Oh, joy. He thought he was pretty clever, but wound up paying a dear price for it with the painful gas he got. I know how painful gas can be, but those were VERY RICH chocolates! Ah, the price of chocolate. *sniffs around kitchen* Do I smell chocolate?... |
