that is me! I've been very busy since this past Thursday. A good busy but tiring none the less Thursday my day started out cleaning, we are trying to get to the more deep grit me and mom are. So Thursday was full of that, and Drew came over for supper and he also brought an adapter to connect the TV to the cable AND the DVD/VHS player...we had been meaning to get around to doing this small job but Drew sweetly solved our problem when he surprised us by bringing it and attaching it! It is SO nice to just push a button to switch from the TV part of it to a movie!, instead of unscrewing it ALL THE TIME! *giggles* It's only been a few days and I'm already spoiled with that little change....Friday after a day of chores and school we (me and Drew) were invited over to Drew's brother and sister-in-law's for supper and a movie. Drew and I brought the movie and Jen made lasagna for all of us. And we watched the movie "Vantage Point" it was good, I had never seen it before. We had a great time. Saturday me and dad had lawns to do and did 2 big ones and got home by 3:40pm just in time to clean up for church by 5 afterwards we went out to eat because Mom has been doing so well in budgeting that we had a little left over and so went out to eat afterwards a rare treat because we have been doing so well on not going out to eat at all except once a month. It is getting easier since Daddy started his new job but we are still short of a few hundred every week even with our careful budget. So it's a praise and a prayer that is needed. Thank you for ALL who have been praying for us through this process..... Sunday I was invited to go to Houston with Drew, his mom, and Jen to go to Drew's cousin's daughters play that afternoon and their church at 11:30pm. I got up at 6:25am after my alarm failed to go off at 6am for whatever miss begotten reason! *gggrr* Fritzy toddled into my room (I told you he was an EARLY riser) which he NEVER does! And said "Megan, you got to get up". (NO ONE told him to do this) I told him to go wake up dad then decided to look at the clock and got a shock! So luckily I was ready by 7 when they picked me up to go. 3 and 1/2 hours later we arrived in Houston. With an hour to spare. We had a great time and the drama was great "God Spell" it was called. We left to go home around 7 and got home by 10:30-11pm. It was SUCH a fun day, just a full day Today I woke up and had a "lazy" day, lol. me and mom did some basic chores and then sat down to a movie (or rather I did while she went to the store), I'd just bought Friday and was itching to see again it is in my "top 10" favorite for movies (The Mask of Zorro), then I ate supper and here we are. *giggles* gnite for now everyone.... ~*~Megan~*~ |
