Spring is just around the corner and the Valley Preferred Cycling
Center is excited to announce the 2008 Marty Nothstein Spring Bicycle
Racing League (BRL)! The Cycling Center has been undergoing major
construction over the winter months with the 2008 track resurfacing
project and an overall facelift of the venue including new signage and
landscaping. Along with the wonderful changes taking place with the
facility, the Valley Preferred Cycling Center has also made a number
of improvements this year for community programs.
The BRL is a Valley Preferred Cycling Center community-cycling program
aiming to identify and develop tomorrow's champions today. The
professional coaching staff educates youth participants in the sport
of bicycle racing, while enhancing self-esteem, forging a sense of
accomplishment and promoting a healthy lifestyle; all in a highly
structured and competitive program. The BRL is the most thrilling,
race-oriented youth program offered in the United States!
Further information and registration will be available on the website
during the first week in March. This world renowned youth cycling
program kicks off on April 28th and will conclude with the BRL Finals
on June 20th at the World Series of Cycling Keirin Cup! Be sure to
mark your calendar and join Olympians Marty Nothstein and Erin
Hartwell for the newly titled Marty Nothstein Bicycle Racing League
program open to all youth ages 10-16.
