here is our bread recipe, this makes 2 loaves which lasts about 5 minutes around here!
8 cups flour
T yeast (we buy ours bulk too)
1/2 t salt
3 cups hot water (not scalding)
1/2 cup honey
3 T oil
mix all dry then add all liquid, stir as well as you can, then knead till stretchy, put in metal bowl, rise in off oven with light on, for 1 hr, then knead again 5 mins, then oil pans, put in pans, let rise in oven again for 1/2 hr more then bake at 350 till brown on top, |
