To complete the cycle that began when Nate the Great had his Great Day (See the previous post on the topic...), the man who farms the fields next to us took him in the tractor (yes, it was enclosed, and perfectly safe) to bale the hay. Nate talked about it for days. He dreamed about it at night, and was obsessed with his hay. All was well in Nater-Mater land until yesterday when Tony took the bales off the field... Nate was HEARTBROKEN that Tony was stealing his hay bales. He was so funny! We laughed at him all morning! |
