A Rein On My Tongue

Much as I would like to believe I am the Perfect Mama, those who know me in real life will know of my many faults.  Those of you who do not know me yet must just believe me in this fact.  And even though my friend Misti wrote a great post on the topic of sweet words here ( http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/sweetsavages/381275/ ), when Emma (age 5) came and reported that a Bible verse was GLUED to the bathroom wall, sweet words were the last things I was ready to use to lablast exhort my guilty child.  For I knew exactly which child it would be.  (Anyone else have a child who just seems to be the one who does everything?)

So as I went to inspect the art work... just to make sure the story was true... I found this verse

Hebrews 4:12 (New International Version) -  For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

I'll consider myself judged.

Yes! My 16 yos ALMOST always is the guilty party - I am usually floored when it is someone else! We have cameras in our home now and he figured out which fridge was not in the picture! You can guess what he did!
