I'm not the only blonde in the group.

Yesterday we had a wonderful day with perfect weather in a neat park with some great friends.  We had been looking forward to it for weeks.  We've been talking and planning for it for days.  EVERYONE KNEW ABOUT IT.

As we were pulling out of the driveway Sara asked:  "What are we doing?"

Silence.  Then I (brilliantly) said, "Flying to the moon."  I thought it was sarcastic enough that no one believed me.  Wrong.

After about 20 minutes, Josiah asked, "Are we almost there?"

Sara (in her most superior voice) - "We're going to SPACE, Joe.  It takes a long time to fly to the moon."

After Eric and I stopped laughing hysterically, he said, "Sara, I think that Mama was just being silly."

Sara - "No she wasn't."

That'll show me.

Me too! Years ago I picked up pizza for dinner. Emma was with me and she asked what we were having for dinner. I said, "Fried Chicken." She said, "Oh. We're having Fried chicken, but it sure smells like Pizza."
