Anna (8) came to me during school time and asked:  "Mama, I need help with my logic.  What is that big building in cities that has a couple department stores and a bunch of little stores?"

She didn't even know what a mall was.  I guess I must be doing something right, since Angela (age 14) admitted Anna had asked her first and she hadn't known the answer either.

Josiah said "I think Mercy needs a diaper change.  Yep- I think she has a foul diaper."  I think he is steering WAY away from any thing close to the word feces.  We are still giggling about it 24 hours later.  I'll never be able to think of Martin Luther the same.

They've added two and two to get four, and discovered that I blog all this stuff.  I have a bunch of little people looking over my shoulder as I am writing.  After Josiah said the foul comment, he put his hand in his head, and said, "Oh no.  Now she's going to blog this too..."
