Homeschooling High School Seminar
|
There is a great use for the internet these days... it is for having homeschool seminars from the comfort of your own home! I have participated in one other one which was such a wonderful encouragement. Now I am wondering if anyone else would like to join Cindy Rushton in learning how to make High School Easy. If you had been in our house this month, you would know we need to hear this one!!! So I'll be there as much as I can, and I hope to see you too! Drop me a note and let me know if you see me in there!
Just go here: http://www.cindyrushton.com/HighSchool.html to see the details. One of the sessions actually starts tonight and is open to everyone, not only those registered for the Friday and Saturday sessions. The chat room is easy to use. Hope to see you there!!!

What a nice family you have!
I can understand the "break the bank" feeling. We have 1/2 the family you do and dinners out can be expensive...even with a coupon or two. We have found that brunches at a "family buffet" type restaurant works best for us. The kids like the selection of breakfast/lunch foods and the baby gets in for free.
Thanks for the link to homeschooling high schoolers. As this is my first year homeschooling a highschooler with ADHD and really low motivation, I can use all the info I can get my hands on.
Nice blog. I signed up for the RSS feed. I look forward to 'peeking in' daily.
Blessings,
Kim

I wish I could join in this seminar! ) :
I just wanted to tell you that I read your comment over at EEEMommy and thought you did a great job on your letter! I am in complete agreement. The comments to her post have inspired me to address the same issue on my blog - not to seek more contention or anger but to get to the heart of why the church today makes these kind of choices without consulting the Word first. I have not posted it yet as I had a friend read over my post first and she and I both felt that I really needed a lot more Scripture. So after I get it finished I will post it.
Warmly,
Mandi

Hey, where's Hawaiian Standard Time?? (hee hee) Thanks for the great comment. I'll post a picture of the folks when they arrive!
Homeschooling high school intimidates me, but with good resources and my husband's involvement, I feel we could do it. We'll have to see how it goes and where we are! We still have a couple of years to decide for sure!
