Back to my Socialization

People are always telling me that my children will miss out on socializationby being homeschooled.  I really don't care.  The last socialization my children experienced was at the final night of the library summer reading program.  They learned a song about a worm who kept eating the cat, dog, his family, etc. then threw them all up.  But it used the "p" word.  Josiah rightly decided that we shouldn't ever sing that song again.

For MYSELF, however, socialization is very important.  And I have been without it for a week since my computer died and it was in the shop.  My heart sank as I saw that there were at least 15 computers on the counter ahead of mine.  It was a good time of fasting.  I have read a lot, and gotten some things done around the house.  But that didn't stop me from letting the children watch the Sound of Music AND two episodes of Little House on the Prairie after I got the computer back from the store today.  And I caught up on all my cyberspace friends.

So all is well in my little world.  I am back in touch.  And it feels good!
