Hey!!
I am so sorry about the pictures! I thought they would work! It turns out I did something wrong but my dad fixed it (of course) so you should be able to see them now!!
I was trying out this lettering (it’s called Rage Italic) on our “Word” program to see if would work on my blog and it does! So from now on I may use letters that aren’t on the normal list you have to choose from.
Here is a daisy that I took a picture of.
I might decide to write a story or something on here. I might put a poem on that I wrote a while ago. It’s called: Jungle Gar Gaggle. It is so cute! I want it to be a children’s book one day and have it published. I want to know what you think!
Jungle Gar Gaggle
By: Me
For my Family and to my Grandparent’s dog Lucy who inspired me!
I live in a jungle
It’s called Gar Gaggle
It’s filled with rare plants
And many an animal
Jungle Gar Gaggle
Full of forest babble
I live in a tree house
All covered in sap
I sit there smiling
As it drips in my lap
Jungle Gar Gaggle
Full of forest babble
I don’t want to leave
This wonderful place
I have my own creek
I have my own space
Jungle Gar Gaggle
Full of forest babble
The animals talk to me
Like I am their friend
We play hide and seek
And we play pretend
Jungle Gar Gaggle
Full of forest babble
I never get lonely
I don’t waste my time
I sometimes get sick
But that is just fine
Jungle Gar Gaggle
Full of forest babble
I love Gar Gaggle
Like a horse loves to run
Galloping wildly
Free, under the sun
Jungle Gar Gaggle
Full of forest babble
I have an old dog
Her name is Miss Maggle
She lives with me
In the Jungle Gar Gaggle
Jungle Gar Gaggle
Full of forest babble
We go everywhere together
Miss Maggle and me
From the heart of the Jungle
To the shores of the sea
Jungle Gar Gaggle
Full of forest babble
I love Gar Gaggle
I’ll never say goodbye
I’ll never leave
Till the day I die
Jungle Gar Gaggle
Full of forest Babble
So what did you think about it? Wouldn’t it make a great children’s book!
Here is a picture of Lucy!! My inspiration!
Well I had better go!!

Jun. 1, 2006 - Wow!!!!!!!
The picture of the daisy impressed me, but the poem and the artwork really blew me away! Whoever is homeschooling you is doing a great job!
Now maybe you can give me some advice. My two daughters are 5 and 8. The oldest is going into 3rd grade. She loves art but she doesn't always get into our art lessons. What kinds of art instruction/curricula/materials have been the most interesting/fun/helpful to you. Any advice you have would be appreciated.
I don't have a blog yet, but if you like you can leave me a message on my daughter's blog, www.homeschoolblogger.com/Bunnyschool. Thanks and God bless you!
