Merry Christmas Everyone!

A few days ago I saw the new movie: The Nativity Story.

I didn't expect to feel the way I did after I saw this movie.

It made me forget everything about presents and "Jingle Bells” and to tell you the truth, I didn't miss it. This movie shows the true meaning of Christmas and I recommend this movie for everyone.

 It is not full of action; it is made the way it could have actually been. It shows what it might have been like when Mary’s parents found out, or what the scenery was like.

As I watched, I felt sadness and love. I was teary eyed with happiness during the manger scene as I am sure you will be also. I felt anger at Herod, and love toward God.

On Christmas day, when you are opening your gifts and eating Christmas food, think about the one gift that matters most…..

Hello!!

     I want to tell you about our state fair!I loved it!! I got a first for my dog picture (below), a 2nd for my crocheted purse" Well done! 1st place was more difficult. Keep up the good work." (That's what it said on the tag for my purse!) I also got a 2nd for my watercolor and I got a 3rd for my decorated cake! On my cake tag it said "Very nice flowers - Roses and Pansies are nicely done". I am so happy!

   Here is my award-winning Lucy drawing! It actually looks a lot better in real life!

     We went to the fair twice and both times we we went with my grandparents. I got a corndog and I got a lemon shake-up! Tasty! We went to the coliseum to watch horse judging! (I tell ya! There is nothing I want more than a horse!) We went to see goats, cows and sheep! I got to shoot three arrows ( I have done it before and I was good then but this time the bow was too small so I didn't do well), I got to shoot a BB gun and I got one partly on the ten circle! The target was really far away and the man that was with me said that I was really good! He said that girls just have a way of doing it well and I told him that I was an artist so my hand was super steady! I have never even shot a gun before! We also tried fishing and it was really fun!

     I would love to be the kind of girl that goes fishing and hunting and has a horse of her own! I hope that is possible for me one day!

     I apologize for not writing in so long.  I hope a lot of you still read my blog.

     I don't know about you but I get jealous a lot and that is very sinful.  It just happens.  I hear about someone else's achievements and that is my jealousy.  All I have to do is pray to the Lord for help.  If you start to feel jealous just think about the talents God has given you.  I may not be a great writer and I wish I was but God has given me the great talent of art.  He may have given you the talent of singing or writing, painting or gardening.  Think about how God chooses only a special few to become famous. If you continue to feel jealous instead of being happy with your life, content with everything you have and thanking the Lord Jesus for all those things, then you will have an unhappy life. Sometimes I feel like I have an unhappy life but instead of feeling that way, I could turn my life around and be content with everything He has given me.

Jealousy will never lead to anything Godly.  I have to go now but keep in mind that you can lead a wonderful life when you put God before jealousy.

     I know it has been so long (almost a month) since last time I wrote.   I am so sorry, I have been very busy lately.  I have entered the county fair and I got three 1st's, one 2nd, one 3rd and one 4th.  I was so happy!

I would erase sin but I don't want what the Lord says to change, so I would tell the world about Jesus and let them make the choice.

Hey!!

     I am so sorry about the pictures!  I thought they would work!  It turns out I did something wrong but my dad fixed it (of course) so you should be able to see them now!!

     I was trying out this lettering (it’s called Rage Italic) on our “Word” program to see if would work on my blog and it does!  So from now on I may use letters that aren’t on the normal list you have to choose from.             

     Here is a daisy that I took a picture of.

     I might decide to write a story or something on here.  I might put a poem on that I wrote a while ago.  It’s called: Jungle Gar Gaggle.  It is so cute!  I want it to be a children’s book one day and have it published.  I want to know what you think!

  Hello everyone!!

     I know....  it has actually been 11 days since last time I wrote.  Forgive me but I don't have a super interesting life, I mean it like this: Get up, get dressed, do bathroom stuff, read my Bible, do school, have lunch ( we have a pretty big lunch because of my dad's work schedule), do a bit more school if we didn't get enough done, then some days I go walkin' with my mom and sis ( I would much rather go swimmin'),  if I need to, I take a shower, then we go off to do what we want to do     etc..  So basically I do that every day. With some exceptions like it is the weekend or we go to volunteer.

      I love to take pictures so that is why it is a bummer to me that I cannot put any pictures of myself on here.  I would love to though!  I take pictures of my cats all of the time!  Sometimes even if there is nothing to take pictures of, I still have the camera out!  Like right now it is sitting in front of me and I don't even need it!  It is digital so if I take a bad picture, I can delete it.

     This is my cat Pinkle Purr, other names for him include: P, Poopernieze, Dodey Pickens, Mr. Raisins, Mr. Snuffles, Baby and of course Pibb!!!

Hello everyone,

  A robin made her nest in a pine tree right in front of our dining room window. It is was so neat because we could see it really well. I keep using past tense because late this morning I was bringing some things out to the car and I looked up at the tree.  Unfortunately the nest was not there.  It was on the ground flipped over.  My sister found an egg on the groud near the place where the nest fell.  It was so small and cold.  But the color of blue was so beautiful.  It was about this big across __________.  It has been very windy these past few days so I believe that is the reason for the nest falling out.  My sister and I cried a little and we are very upset.  We were counting on seeing the little babies being fed by the mother.  But there is nothing we can do.  God allowed it and because of our own sin this was caused.  I think in heaven I will see plenty of robins laying on their nests and I can't wait!

Hello again,

     I just wanted to let you know that I just saw  two deer make their way gracefully and daintly through the forest edge back in our (really huge) yard. One stood up on it's hind legs and got some leaves from a tree.  May I say that deer are amazing to me.  I love how they walk and I just love their body shape and everything about them!  I imagine Heaven to be a wonderful place where animals walk up to you and they love on you and they let you pet them. Also I imagine God and I walking to a creek and playing in it with my family and friends! I love God.  I just have to say that. It seems I can't thank Him enough for everything He has done for me. I am sorry I have to leave you so quickly but I have to go now!
