Meanwhile, Pintel and his friend, a one-eyed pirate named Ragetti, had overheard all of the conversation.
"I wonder if its just a story, like the so called 'legendary treasure of Crookedfinger Nick', what do you think?" Pintel asked his friend.
"I don't know. Was it his left finger that was crooked?" Ragetti asked.
"I always heard it told that it was his right finger." Pintel said.
"No, I'm pretty sure it was his left, his left second finger to be exact."
"No, no, no. You got it all wrong, it was his right thumb."
"Left!"
"No, his right!"
The two argued and caught the attention of Bootstrap Bill, who was standing nearby. He watched and laughed a couple of times before he walked over to them. He was going to end it by saying it was the left, since that was how he always heard it said.
"Now listen here. What difference does it make? According to every story I ever heard, it was his left second finger, not his right thumb." he said.
"Ha! I told you so." said Ragetti, while Pintel stuck his tongue out at Bootstrap Bill for interfering.
"It was none of your business to interfere. It was our argument." Pintel said, pouting over his loss.
"Well, I didn't want to hear an arguement over which side some dead man's crooked finger was located on." Bootstrap replied, walking away.
"Told you so." Ragetti said again. Pintel rolled his eyes and walked away.

A few days ago I had come here and was going to copy and paste it to wordpad so I could read it later and not have to get on-line. But it wouldn't let me copy it. How did you get it to do that? Cuz I have stories that I would like to post but I kind of leary about people taking them and finishing them. Thanks.
Have a blessed day.
