Good Morning All!
I got to thinking...I haven't posted that much about homeschooling, dispite the fact that I am on HSB, so I would like to begin a series on "What We Do For...Bible, History, Science, etc.", taking a subject a day (perhaps not consecutive days) and just journaling about it with photos. I say, "I would like to", however, my camara is not working AGAIN (augh). So hopefully later today I will have the first post done - but will have to wait on the photos until either my dh figures out what is wrong with the camara or we buy a new one. (sigh).
Otherwise, we are busy, busy, busy with school and as soon as we are done with our school day, I'm upstairs in Ladybug's room, working on her Extreme Room Makeover. Right now, her old wallpaper border is fighting me every inch of the way. It isn't old - this makes the third re-decorating in 10 years - so it's only about 4 yrs. old, but dispite me putting sizing on before I papered, it's a stubborn bugger. I called my MIL, the wallpaper queen, last night for advice and she instructed me to add fabric softener to the hot water that I was soaking the wallpaper with - and it does help, but still slow. I only got 1 & 1/3 walls done last night - but we press on. We are going from a turquoise & white wall with a happy sunshine border to a all-pink wall with poke-a-dots of orange, lime green, dark pink, & lavander. Thankfully, I am using the removeable wallpaper decals for the dots so the next redo won't be so hard. Ladybug is my 70's child, in decor & fashion, so most everything she just LOVES - I don't. But, we try to come to a compromise. :) Stay tuned for pictures -- if I get my camara going.
Have a nice day everyone.
Blessings, Jane |
