Outside My Window...a BEAUTIFUL summer day!!!
I am thinking...Why did God make mosquitoes?
I am thankful for...my wonderful husband and daughters and country living.
From the kitchen...
Monday ~ French Toast & Sausage
Tuesday ~ Lasagna
Wednesday ~ Salad
Thursday ~ Tatter Tot Hotdish
Friday ~ Salmon
Saturday ~ Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Wings
Sunday ~ Sloppy Joes
I am creating...working on the girls' scrapbooks (something I was suppose to start last week and didn't get to it).
I am going...to be home most of this week, with the exception of shuttling the girls to where they need to be and a few errands around our small town.
I am wearing...my usual barn wear... denim capris, black long-sleeve t-shirt (will have to change into a short-sleeve soon), & sports socks. Hair in ponytale.
I am reading...Joshua and the Book of Acts; little time to sit down & read anything else.
I am hoping...my dh can make a run for our two families of chicks this week. The fox is back and I can't let them free-range right now -- she got 2 of our neighbor's hens & 4 chicks just this Saturday; practically carrying her favorite hen right past our noses. By the time dh could grab his gun, she was out of range.
I am hearing...the birds' joyful songs outside my open window; youngest daughter just came down to say good morning and is now hunting up some breakfast.
Around the house...keeping the house clean & company-ready at all times.
One of my favorite things...okay, this is going to sound silly, but... taco salad. I just had some leftover taco salad for breakfast and it was delicious!
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...today I need to pay bills and pick up a re-fill on our dog's medication. Else it's mostly working on scrapbooks; tending to the garden & flowers; and shuttling the girls back and forth for Summer Youth Theater practice.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing for you...

Three of our 4 baby chicks this morning - now 5 days old.
